Soloist and choirmaster
Tiziana
Fumagalli has a piano and music didactics diploma.
She studied choir mastership with Fosco Corti, Roberto Goitre, and
Giovanni Acciai.
Engaged from the very beginning in the field of teaching, she has always
privileged the choral activity in that regarded as a real plus both from
the individual training and the musical education points of view.
With the choirs created in the various schools, Tiziana Fumagalli has
taken part in concerts, festivals, and cultural performances, with the
obtainment of a great number of acknowledgements.
In 1992, with some former school-girls, she founded the first group of the
“Hildegard von Bingen” choir.
Thanks to the work accomplished with the choir and to specialization
courses, Tiziana Fumagalli has deepened the study of plain chant. In
particular, in these last years she has attended the courses of “Scuola
Superiore di canto gregoriano” (Gregorian Chant Higher School), Cremona.
At present, she is a teacher at the “Teresa Ciceri” normal school, Como.
